What you’re looking at

The site’s measures are grouped into topics: cost of living, energy, housing and so on. Each topic is a sphere. Its colour runs from green (mostly better than when the government took office in May 2022) through amber to red (mostly worse). Each small dot orbiting a sphere is one measure, coloured the same way. The centre sphere is every measure combined.

“Worse” means worse than in mid-2022 on the latest official figures, or a government promise that is off track. Measures where “better” is a matter of political opinion, such as the size of government or migration, are shown in blue and left out of the counts. Figures as at 7 Oct 2026.
